JESOMANIANS take part in the Culmination of Rosary Month

October 27, 2023

On October 3, 2023, Jesus Son of Mary Academy launched the  Month of the Holy Rosary which marks the start of the activities throughout October.

The Jesomanians' deep affection for God was shown as they participated in praying the rosary after the “Enthronement of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” and through the way they used the holy rosary when praying.

As Pope Pius XII said, "There is no surer means of calling down God's blessings upon the family...than the daily recitation of the Rosary". To pray the rosary, every day in each classroom the students together with their subject teachers recited the rosary and reflected on it. Furthermore, there is also a "Dalaw Birhen," wherein the image of Fatima is brought into each room, where it will stay for one day until it finishes visiting the school.

On October 27, 2023, the last day of the Rosary Month celebration, there was a human living rosary at Quadrangle B of the school, where flowers were offered. As part of the celebration of the United Nations, prayer intentions were also offered for each continent for world peace and the well-being of each country in the world.

This month's event became successful through the initiatives of the Campus Ministry Club and their adviser, Ms. Josephine Alvarez, together with the Christian Values Integration Office (CVIO) team headed by Ms. Marilou Cabigayan.
